Dr. Beth Harvey is grateful to have grown up in Olympia and is glad to give back to such a great community. After graduating from Capital High School, she attended a 6-year combined BA/MD program at the University of Missouri in Kansas City where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Medical Honor Society. While in Kansas City she ran cross-country for UMKC and is proud that she never came in last. For residency, she moved to Salt Lake City and trained at Primary Children’s/the University of Utah where she indulged in lots of skiing and hiking. Here she received the Resident Service to Children Award. Following residency, she stayed on as Chief Resident and co-led a community outreach project with AmeriCorps focusing on healthcare access to the Hispanic community.
